SkinnyTinis Review

I loved this book because it took a lot of classic drinks and toned down the calorie count but it also added in some yummy original recipes that I can't wait to try! I am about to have my first child so I haven't been drinking for many many months and am looking forward to it once again (eventually) so the low calorie drinks will be absolutely perfect for me!
It was an easy read and entertaining as well.

Teresa Marie Howes is a health enthusiast, expert skinny mixologist, avid runner and published author. Backed with a formal education with degrees in both nutrition and business and over a decade of professional experience consulting in the weight loss industry, she certainly knows the “right” things to do when it comes to living a healthy lifestyle. She is also well versed in the challenges that an active social and travel calendar can infringe on ones best efforts to do these “right” things.  As it turns out, what’s “right” isn’t always “realistic” and that’s where her personal experience plays a key role. She has battled out the conflict of “right” and “realistic” in the bars, on the road and on vacation for 15+ years – and now in her mid-thirties and at a weight less than she weighed in high school, she’s feeling pretty confident in her strategies and is eager to share them!

I Kill Me Review

I absolutely loved this book - it was just so fabulously nhttp://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=4730308099495822580#editor/target=post;postID=7281759521419514925eurotic. The main character was so worried all the time about everything but was especially a hypochondriac which was hilarious though I am sure in reality would be an awful way to be.
The author had a great way of writing that just drew me in and was highly entertaining. It took a difficult situation or personality trait and made it a very funny experience. I really would recommend this book as a great distraction and highly amusing.

Tracy H. Tucker is first and foremost the mother of three of the best people on Earth. She has a Master's in Literacy from the University of Maine and has inspired the youth of America for seventeen years. She's an avid animal lover and would like to publicly thank her husband for putting up with the pet hair, the dogs in the bed, the things the cats hack up and the repeated requests for goats. It's a wonderful life.

Bouquet Toss Review

Bouquet Toss was a delightful tale of a woman who was searching for happiness and hoping to find it with the right man. And what woman can't identify with that? I loved this book for the real way that it showed the main character; her hopes and dreams and also her fears and insecurities. I think that most of us have felt like she did at least once (a day) and can't recommend this book enough to anyone who has felt that intense longing for love.

Melissa Brown is a hopeless romantic living in the Chicago suburbs with her husband Chris and their two children.  Aside from writing, she enjoys reading and baking.  She also has a slight obsession with actor Henry Cavill and the TV show New Girl.

Baby! Baby? Baby?! Review

I loved this book. Since I am expecting my first baby, I could identify with a lot of what the character was going through, even the very confusing feelings. It is definitely a rollercoaster ride of emotions but the author definitely captured everything perfectly. I am really hoping that she will write a sequel.

Author Bio:

I live in Toronto with my husband, 3 amazing kids, and cat Sebastian, who has a supporting role in every book I write.  Since Baby! Baby? Baby?! has been published, I’ve focused on writing more and have started two blogs; one about my views on books, writing and other stuff, and one on my observations of Bethany, a small town in Ontario.  I’ve been busy working on a new chick lit novel and hope to see it published by the spring.  I also volunteer at my children’s school by helping put out their newspaper and encouraging kids to write has become one of my favourite pastimes!   I also love hanging out at the cottage with family and friends in the summer, all things Star Wars related and opening the pages of a brand new book.

A State of Jane Review

A State of Jane was a book that I enjoyed very much as I could definitely see myself in a lot of the character's personality and actions. The character is very definitely in a place where she is going through a lot of changes and trying to find what will make her happy by going to some crazy extremes at times. It is probably something that a lot of us can identify with.
This book definitely made me groan in sympathy and laugh out loud a lot of times. I think it is a must read for any chick lit fan as it epitomizes the genre to a T.

A born and bred New Yorker, Meredith Schorr discovered her passion for writing when she began to enjoy drafting work-related emails way more than she was probably supposed to, and was famous among her friends for writing witty birthday cards. After dabbling in children’s stories and blogging her personal experiences, Meredith found her calling writing “real chick lit for real chicks." When Meredith is not hard at work on her current work in progress, she spends her days as a trademark paralegal at a law firm in New York City. Meredith is a loyal New York Yankees fan and an avid runner. She also loves to read and is always on the lookout for her new favorite author. A State of Jane is her second novel.
